BASIC FUNCTION
The individual will be responsible to prepare RFP’s, negotiate and review various company contracts, including purchases, sales and business partnerships. The individual would take on a project manager role, working an entire life cycle of contract management, working well under pressure, liaising with government employees and crafting appropriate responses as per business need.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop contract proposals to support organizational goals
- Create RFP’s, review contract estimates, including proposed materials, production costs, etc and determine whether they seem reasonable and accurate
- Ensure that all records are accurate and up to date
- Write contract letters and other communications and notices
- Negotiate and approve contract terms while ensuring that projects remain within the established budget
- Attend meetings to assess progress on projects which are in motion, and take detailed notes to share with stakeholders
- Create regular status reports regarding progress on projects
- Analyze contracts to ensure they comply with state and federal laws and regulations
MUST HAVES
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
- Over 5 years of experience in dealing with entire life cycle of Government Service Contracts of value above 50 CR
- Should have completed one life cycle of a contract, from creating a RFP to getting the payment
- Knowledge and understanding of the legal requirements involved in specific contracts
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work in a team and with a wide range of people at various government levels
- Must have strong language, comprehension and written ability in Marathi, Hindi and English
