Dr Tarharkar has recently joined Valuable group at the capacity of advisory consultant for their Agro tourism projects.

With a meritorious educational career in the university, Dr Padmakar Tarharkar completed his P.hd from the prestigious Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi in 1964. He completed post doctoral research at TH Munich (West Germany).

Dr Tarharkar joined Indian Council of Agri research, New Delhi and was posted as head crop production division at Hyderabad. He has done the pioneering research work on the development of cropping systems, based on jowar and oilseeds. He was posted later at central institute for cotton research, Nagpur as head and program leader of crop production projects in india on cotton.

He participated in many national and international seminar/symposia and presented number of research papers and acted as external examiner for Phd. Candidates in many agriculture universities.
